"MY OWN HORN"
by Zachary Rockenstyre
Son of Dwayne and Melinda Rockenstyre

Zach is a film student attending Tisch School of the Arts at New York  University in New York City. For an Intermediate Narrative Course, Zach shot an 8 minute short film titled “My Own Horn” this past fall.

Zach wrote the script for this film. The film is inspired by his own personal experiences as a young trumpet player learning to understand his brother’s social anxiety disorder and the effect that it has on his family. The film was shot over a three day period in December 2010 in various locations in New York City. Zach is editing the film in his Intermediate Editing Course.

Zach will graduate in May 2011 with honors. He is currently writing his first feature length screenplay.
